As a center for concrete actions, we build bridges between women promotion, community development, and effective communication strategies.
Founded with a vision to promote women and strengthen communities, we have grown to implement numerous initiatives that address real community needs while empowering women and amplifying their voices.
Our name “Ingiro” reflects our commitment to action and transformation in the communities we serve.

At Ingiro Action Center, we believe that sustainable development requires a holistic approach. That’s why we built our work around three interconnected pillar programs that reinforce each other:
Empowering women through entrepreneurship support, children’s education programs, and health initiatives. Our tailored initiatives like “Kazi ya Mama,” “Abana Bacu,” and “Afya ya Mama” address specific community challenges.
Creating platforms that amplify women’s voices through radio programs, media training, and content production. “Umukenyezi Iwacu” show connects women across Burundi to share experiences and promote initiatives.
Supporting Burundian artists and the music industry through structured programs, artist management, training, and advocacy. We’re particularly focused on making Burundian music both a cultural expression and a tool for community development.
