Promoting Burundian culture and supporting the arts
Our Cultural Actions program works to promote Burundian culture and arts, with a particular focus on the music industry. We believe that cultural expression is both valuable in itself and a powerful tool for community development.
“Our goal is to strengthen the cultural sector while using artistic expression as a vehicle for social change and community empowerment.“

We provide management and production support to Burundian artists, helping them develop their careers and reach wider audiences. Our support includes production assistance, promotion, and career development guidance.
“We supported the production of artist Andy Mwag’s album ‘Champion,’ helping bring this talented performer’s music to a broader audience.”
We assist cultural organizations in structuring their work, planning activities, and implementing effective programs. Our goal is to build sustainable cultural institutions that can thrive independently.
“We provided guidance to Kuza Muzik in its organizational structuring, strategic planning, and program implementation, helping strengthen this important cultural institution.”
We provide strategic support to existing cultural initiatives undertaken by other actors working in the promotion of Burundian culture. Our approach is flexible and responsive—we make available either our own services or determine tailored support corresponding to the specific nature of each initiative.
We provided sponsorship for the organization of Miss Burundi 2025, demonstrating our commitment to supporting diverse cultural expressions and platforms that celebrate Burundian identity.
Through Umukenyezi Iwacu, Miss Burundi finalists reached women across all provinces, sharing not just their cultural participation but their vision for community impact and women’s empowerment.
