Abana Bacu women review the school year

Abana Bacu holds an annual meeting for women in its groups to reflect on supporting children’s education.

August 2024

Women in the Runtown Ladies group reviewed their children’s progress, discussed challenges and identified steps to support their education.

Each year, women in our Abana Bacu programme meet to discuss their children’s education. In this session they went through the previous school year, discussed the challenges they faced and identified practical actions to support schooling.

Father Jean-Paul Ndayikengurukiye, an education specialist and director of Don Bosco Fundamental School in Buterere, facilitated the discussion. He shared education guidance with the participants.
