At Ingiro Action Center, we marked International Women’s Day with discussion, games, dance and humour from Aurore. Women shared hopes around careers, solidarity, having a voice and financial independence.
Women set out their hopes for choosing their careers, flourishing in daily life and work, supporting one another and reaching financial independence, in a day of discussion, games and dance.
A symbolic wall carried other aspirations: being understood and heard in their communities, pursuing any profession, having a place and voice in society, and seeing prices fall. The gathering also included an exchange about the meaning of women’s rights, why they matter and the work that remains.
